Holistic Development
The founders of THE ARK Nursery and Preschool, Angee Lim, have created THE ARK CONCEPT with the idea that The Ark is an incubator for young children to strengthen their holistic development, including body, mind, soul, and intellectual skills, by using pluralistic activities that are fun and engage children at the optimum level. Thus, the children will become future-ready individuals who understand the meaning of their learning path.

According to her, children need a positive environment that emphasises five essential aspects of life: the capacity to love, to connect with others, freedom and independence, self-worth, and emotional security. When a kid has acquired all of these essential qualities, this helps to optimise your child’s mind, body and soul and develop happiness, well being and strong mindfulness. Preschool Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children aged 2-5 years old. The Preschool Teacher will plan and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that encourages children’s physical, emotional, social, and intellectual growth.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that align with our educational philosophy and standards.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children to explore, play, and learn.
- Observe and assess children’s progress, behavior, and development, and communicate findings with parents and staff.
- Foster a supportive and respectful relationship with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in the classroom.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and implement special events and activities.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
- Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field( TESL, psychology)
- Relevant teaching certification or credentials.
- Previous experience working with young children in a preschool or similar setting.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and adapt to a dynamic educational environment.
